My family, 7 adults and 5 children, gathered at Rustic Timbers for Thanksgiving. We wanted a spacious setting where we could enjoy being together before my youngest son deployed to Iraq. I visited this BnB in person and was greatly impressed with the quality of the cabin and with the warm friendliness of it's hostess, Betty Goe. The stone fireplace, large gourmet kitchen and luxury bathrooms were especially impressive. The in-person visit convinced me that Rustic Timbers would best suit our needs
and desires.
The breakfasts served each morning were delicious as was a prime rib dinner prepared for us. Betty was most gracious to accommodate any schedule we asked for.
Rustic Timbers is a perfect setting for a family gathering any time of year. With state parks, 2 rivers, 2 lakes and a wildlife refuge, plus historical sites there is much to do. Whether you rent a bedroom or two, or the entire cabin as we did, you will NOT be disappointed in your stay at this lovely BnB and you will NOT be disappointed in the exceptional hospitality you are offered there.

Thanks Betty for a wonderful night. The Houston County Drug Alliance parents and guests met for a time of fellowship and discussion. We recently had a surprise birthday party for my hubby at the cabin and the facility was perfect for such an occasion. We reserved the cabin for our out of town guest while visiting us. They all loved the idea of staying in the cabin with just family.
We had the birthday party there and Mrs. Betty and staff did a superb job with fixing the dinner. She had lots of beautiful fall decorations to admire inside and out.
There was room as well for a band. We had the Brigham Branch Boys to play (blue grass music) and the sound was great inside the cabin.
Mrs. Betty was a very gracious and accommodating lady and went out of her way to make us all feel cared for.
Our family came from out of state. They could not believe we had such nice facilities here in such a small town. They were very complimentary of the staff and how clean everything was.
They had 1st wanted to stay in Clarksville and I persuaded them to trust me on this one and they were all very pleased, plus they didn't have a 40 minute commute to get to our house each day one way.
I give Rustic Timbers a 5 star rating, and I will go back to enjoy some of her Sunday dinners from time to time. We recommend you come and stay. You will want to return. Thanks again Mrs. Betty.

I am so proud of my mom! When I visited her in Tennessee last year, Rustic Timbers was still in the construction phase, and there wasn't even a kitchen yet. When I stepped inside again just a couple weeks ago, I was blown away by everything she has done to make the cabin beautiful, warm and welcoming. But the real treat is what takes place in her state-of-the-art kitchen. She just hosted the wedding reception for my brother, his wife and 50 guests, and I heard nothing but rave reviews about the dinner all night. I have loved my mom's cooking my whole life, and I'm thrilled that now others are getting to experience for themselves what our whole family has been bragging about for years  . My daughter and I just spent a very relaxing week at Rustic Timbers. The food was amazing, the beds were very comfortable and the cabin is so beautiful! Betty is warm and charming, it's like you've known her for years. I can't wait for our next visit!

Thank you again, Betty, for the fantastic meal you made for my mom's surprise birthday dinner! Everything was perfect and having the whole place to ourselves to relax and enjoy each course just made it all the better! It was obvious the time and effort you and Peggy put into making sure we had a memorable experience. THANKS!
I highly recommend the filet to anyone celebrating a special occasion, and my son is still talking about those rolls!
